I love my child most when...

....she's cute and sleeping. :)

(Emily loves books. And she likes to read one before her nap. Sometimes she ends up like this.)

Don't get the wrong impression. I love my child very much when she is awake too, but there is just something about a child asleep that remind you how sweet and innocent they are. When she's throwing a tantrum, it's harder to remember this.

You know you agree with me. :)

Dressing Herself

The other day I asked Emily to go and get some shoes and pants on....she already had a shirt.

This is what she came up with:

Turquoise pants
Sandals (from last summer...way too small!)
And my personal favorite, a pink glove on her right hand

Show us your glove, Emily!

It doubles as a puppet..

She's a keeper. (I did change her outfit though before we left the house.)

Mysterious Disapperance of the Chocolate Bunny

Emily discovered her chocolate bunny before Easter....(our fault, I know) but this is how I found out about it:

First, I discovered this empty box:

Of course, I assumed Emily was noshing away on it somewhere, but I couldn't find her anywhere! I walked around the house calling her name but couldn't find her (and you know she wasn't answering when I called..) I took me a good 3 minutes to find her. My house is not that big.. she was just hiding.

And then I found her... under her coloring table... quietly devouring this chocolate bunny....

....and pretty proud of herself....

Guilty as charged.

The chocolate bunny will go back in it's box until Easter. It will go in her basket half eaten. She can finish it on Sunday.

Along with the rest of the treats that the Easter Bunny might bring...
