Everytime we drive to or through St. George and Emily can see the St. George Temple all lit up bright white against the red rock, she yells out:
"MY CASTLE! I need my prince!!"
This little girl has a serious obsession with her "prince." The other day I woke up to her wimpering in her room at 4:30am. I went in to see what was wrong. She said through her sobs:
"I want to get married...*sob sob* I want to get married..."
Oh dear. We are in trouble with this one. She is only two years old.
So, for the last day of Scott's spring break we took a trip down to St. George so Emily could actually stop and see the temple and walk around and see the pretty temple grounds. She LOVED it!
The beautiful flowers...

The temple doors at the top of the stairs....

The gorgeous temple against the beautiful blue sky...

The Visitors' Center with the Christus Statue.....

Our family...

And her handsome daddy...who she usually refers to as her prince....

She is a sweet little girl and whoever her real prince turns out to be someday, we will be sure to let him know that she has been wishing to be married to him since she was two.
But for now, we'll go with a quote I saw in a little girls room on a plaque:
"My prince did come. His name is Daddy."
Scott loves his little princess right back.
