This last Saturday, My wife and baby left to visit her sister in Kansas City, Missouri for six days. I already miss them both. I always have been grateful and appreciative of all she does around the house and especially with Emily. I know NOW how much she really does, not just watching the little one, but for me and our home. Reality came quickly when I got home from work on Saturday afternoon and was desiring some delicious dinner. But wait!!! Kristin is gone. No I am perfectly able to cook, so I begin the process... let's see what we have... then I looked in the fridge. Uh-oh. We didn't go grocery shopping before Kristin left and took our ONLY car to Vegas to catch her flight. This normally wouldn't be a problem-right. I can just go shopping, but, not this time. We only have one car and a scooter. We live in Cedar, a scooter really is all you need, except it is quite difficult to fit any amount groceries on the fender of my wonderful little Vino.
So, the minutes continue to tick away and I still don't have any real possibilities besides the non filling cheese-crip. Then the genius all inspired idea comes, "Delivery!!!" Trying to be thrifty and decide on the best value and solution to my no food problem. Domino's!--another inspired thought, at least that is what I thought at the time, 3 pizzas for $5.55. The only good from this I feel now, was that it lasted so long, this is Day 3...
